Step by step guide for DIY window tinting?

DIY = Do It Your self. For those of you who don't know..

Anyways. Want to tint my own windows, But don't want any of those unsightly bubbles i see on some cars..

Special guide, or tips and tricks? Thanks.|||Following the directions on the box is usually the thing that people screw up.

The windows have to be clean. I don't mean "I can't see any dirt on it clean". I mean clean like "Birds are going to fly through it clean". Use a razor, use ammonia, use your brother, but get it clean.

Pre-size your cuts on the outside of the car so they're manageable.

Apply the tint inside the garage. You need light, but not direct sunlight. It heats up the windows and you'll get bubbles.

Don't rush. You get more than one shot when putting it on. The more time you spend getting it right, the longer it will last. Keep it moist with the soap solution.|||There should be instructions with the 'tint'. My advice to you is to do it when you are in the mood. Don't try to get it done in a hurry. And if you start to feel aggervated...stop. It is a project to be done when you aren't pressed for time. And when you feel like spending the time doing it. Otherwise it'll come out looking like crap.|||I dont really reccommend doing it yourself, most DIY tints dont have a life longer than 2 years because they wont guarantee it, as it isnt being installed by a professional, i suggest getting it done by a professional with metal tint that has a life of 5-10 years
