In a nut shell it really helps if you have some window film background. Weather is important since warmer climates have more need but much more competition. There are car tint shops and flat glass and numerous brands to choose to represent.
In terms of capital it helps to have a 6 month saved income because your outlay in money (materials/labor ) will be high at first.
If you tell me where you are located I'd have a better idea at your potential success.
