As previously noted it really is hard or easier depending on your car.
No matter what take it to a professional shop. It will take an hour or so, cost you less than $200 and it will likely be done flawlessly.
They are experts because they do it every day 7 times a day. .
Use a great car film like LLumar or FormulaOne find them at http://www.llumar.com or http://www.formulaone.comWindow tinting???
it really depends what kind of car you are installing the tint on. trucks are easy. but cars hard. i would take it to a tinting shop. Also you might get a warranty just incase the tint fades or peels off. so go with tint shops.Window tinting???
It's not hard, but it's not easy. You need to make sure your windows are spotless clean. Once you clean them, don't even think about touching them with your bare hands. The #1 reason window tints go bad is bad prep work.
When you go to a tint shop, you know the guy in the back has done it a few hundred times and knows all the little tricks to make the job look clean and make it last a long time. Some shops offer life time warranty's on the tint against fading, peeling, bubbling, and cracking. Those are the shops you want to use.
If your tinting the back window(s) of a pick up truck, go ahead and try it your self. If it's going in a car, spend a few bucks and take it to a good shop
