How much is a fair price to have automobile window tinting professionally done?

I dont know about where you are but, in San Diego, I had a company called Solar Tint come to my office and do all seven windows (rear, two small rears, two back door, two front door) at 90% of limo for $200.... with a lifetime warranty on the tint. They did a really good job and I would highly recommend them if they're nationwide, but I dont know if they are. Whoever you go with, just watch out for shops that use low quality tint or that wont guarantee their work for at least three to five years.



EDIT- To the guy with the urgan legend about the cops with razor blades... Its legal in all 50 states to tint any windows except the front two door windows and front windshield. Most states will let you get away with the front doors too but its illegal in some... In CA, its illegal to have it done technically but I've never been bothered about it and every car I've ever had has had the fronts tinted along with the rears.How much is a fair price to have automobile window tinting professionally done?
It depends on where you live--the price varies by area as does the legality of having tint.



However, if you live in a more open-minded state call around and get some prices. Or you can try it yourself. I have done several cars, 2 trucks, and an RV. I like to work with the tint that has the metal layer--it is so much easier to work with. More expensive, but well worth it.



Buy a good sized roll on ebay, that way you will have some to practice with. I tinted a whole RV just recently (and there are a lot of windows in those things) for $25.00.How much is a fair price to have automobile window tinting professionally done?
You have to shop around--it varies by degree of tint and about how long it will take---it is illegal in most places--in New Jersey the cops carry razor scrapers and make you take it off on the side of the road--or they can just give you the ticket.How much is a fair price to have automobile window tinting professionally done?
depends but you should be able to get it done no more than 180..it can be expensive depending on your car (make,model,number of windows)
It depends on which shop/location you go to, here in central CA ive seen many shops with signs that says FULL TINT $100. Hope this helps
