I've attempted to do mine several times but it just doesn't work. There's always some dust and bubbles and rough cuts.Why is auto window tinting so difficult?
Every tint shop has its own tricks to a clean cut and application, and most places have customers bring their cars to them, so they can ensure they apply the tint in a clean, dust-free environment. Make sure to wash the windows beforehand, and don't do it outside!
Alternatively, consider paying a professional to do it for you. It might be more expensive than doing it yourself, but at least it'll be done right. If you're going to have the vehicle for a while, make sure you ask what warranty they offer - a high quality film should come with a lifetime guarantee!
