I have a couple questions. I got it done 4 days ago, is it normal to have small bubbles?
Also is it normal to have a gap on top of my window? The tint only goes so high and you can see a little of the clear class is that normal?
If this isn't normal should I ask them to redo it?
Thank you|||Bubble will evaporate in several weeks. The shop you went to obviously hand cuts the film; thus the gap. Next time find a shop that uses precision cut plotters and you won't have that gap.|||Some TINY bubbles is normal and should go away after a full week or two. (When I had the BIG windows at my shop tinted it took over a MONTH for the bubbles to go away.
In some cars they need to leave the top of the window untinted, but when the window is closed it should disappear into the slot.
If you think it might be a bad job..go and NICELY ask the tint guy to look at it. He may be able to explain the strip at the top of the window|||The cut out are should be about 1/4 of an inch. There should be no bubbles within reason
