They can tint right over it, but it will most likely leave an air bubble in the tint.. Glass is expensive, but if the air bubble bothers you, that's your only option~!

If the scratches are on the outside, NO, you wont have a problem, cause they tint the INSIDE of the glass!
What percentage tint are you getting? I'd recommend 20%.. 20 is the second darkest (5% being the darkest, limo tint, it's a ********* to see out of though, especially at night!)|||If I could suggest,I would go with the lightest number allowed on the front (28%) and as dark as you can stand in the back.The darker the tint, the better it looks :) I WISH it was legal to have any tint on the front widows! Tinting the front is illegal in NS Canada.Black car,with tint, looks bomb!

|||it'll show when you'll tint them. fix the scratches then get them professionally tinted |||Well, this very well may be a problem as when you paint something with a small bump you can still see this, you should just get a new window.
