How much is too much for car window tinting treatment?

Hello internet! So my husband has a 2007 Volvo S80 V8, he wants window tinting on it for Christmas, due to his eyes sensitivity to sunlight while he's driving this would be really great. But I don't know where to go to? We live in the Baltimore area and I've never gotten this done to a car before. If anyone could help me out by giving me the name of a place I'd really appreciate it.|||I've worked in window tinting for 3 years. And while not in Baltimore, I can assure you this: Do your homework. As you may be already aware, your car could cost $100-$450 depending on a variety of things.

Let's go over some things that will make a difference in the price:

A) Warranty. While most tints do come with a lifetime warranty, you will find the minimum price for that reassurance will come at the $150 level.

B) Heat protection. Added heat protection is certainly one thing that can change the price. I've been to the beltway + know how hot and muggy it gets in the summer.

C) Aesthetics. Are we talking a more basic, after-market look or something with a more polished factory-install look.

Ask the tinting company what products they use so you can do your own research on it. While it may take you 20 minutes to complete the process, it will be well worth it.|||Also you may want to get a medical form saying the windows can be darker than 35% which is the state law. If your husband qualifies, you can tint the windows darker than what is allowed to protect his eyes even more.|||Stop by some car audio/car alarm places. Most of them do tinting where I'm located, in the Chicagoland area...|||go to the yellow pages online, or in your phone book, and look up local places. See what your state laws are before you start tinting.
